Featured Must-Try Dishes

Discover Minnesota’s most iconic and underrated eats. From local favorites to hidden gems, these dishes are worth the trip!

Treasury of Pine River Rueben

The Treasury of Pine River has the Rueben on Lockdown. This is a fabled existence. The mythical 3+ hour drive is easily the price we’d pay to eat this sandwich again. It’s only available for 3 hrs a day, one day a week. The corned beef is tender, lightly smoked, and incredible in ways I can’t adequately describe. The perfect toast on the rye bread, tartness of the sauerkraut, and creaminess provided by the Swiss cheese is an orchestra on my tastebuds. Definitely on the top of the list for Ruebens.

5-8 Club Juicy Lucy Burger

Pretty darn good burger! Fresh baked bun, juicy patty filled with and topped with cheese. Finished with bacon, 5-8 sauce, and an onion ring made this burger one of my more delightful experiences. While the burger was great, the star of the show, was marshmellow blue cheese dipping sauce for the sweet potatoe fries. Excellent service and average prices make this burger stop, a 1+ hour drive worthy venture. Bring a friend, burgers always taste better when you have good company.
